WHEN YOU WANT SUSTAINABLY PRODUCED FOODSERVICE CHEESE, MILK, AND OTHER DAIRY - CHOOSE CALIFORNIA
The Foodservice Division of the California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB) supports foodservice operators and distributors that use Real California dairy products. The CMAB offers marketing and promotional support for foodservice operators that purchase dairy products with the Real California Milk seal, which means they are made with 100 percent milk from California’s more than 1,000 family dairy farms, using the leading sustainable dairy practices in the nation.
California dairy’s reputation for quality drives real sales, profits, and repeat business for foodservice operators. California dairy products help restaurants stand out and attract customers. Whether menuing fresh Mozzarella or dry Monterey Jack, sour cream, or ice cream, the key is featuring products that carry the Real California Milk seal.
As the nation’s leading producer of Mozzarella, Monterey Jack and Hispanic-style cheeses, fluid milk, butter, ice cream, and nonfat dry milk, California is truly America’s dairy state. About one-third of the state’s dairy production serves the U.S. foodservice sector with the remainder going to domestic consumers and the international market.
The state’s cheese production, second in the nation, is also at an all-time high – and growing steadily. The state’s cheesemakers set the pace with creativity as well, making more than 250 varieties and styles of Real California Cheese.
